A Narcissist is someone who is in love with a made up image of his or herself. These made up images are then projected out into the world instead of their true self. A narcissist is a complicated individual. It can be very difficult to live with a narcissist. Narcissists are often charming and seem to proclaim self-love.
A Narcissist is often mistaken as someone who is madly in love with himself, however, a narcissist is someone who is in love with an idealised self-image which he projected in other not to feel or being seen as a weakling. A narcissist is usually empty inside.
A narcissist does whatever he or she wants or when he or she wants without considering others feelings. A narcissist agenda is his comfort and happiness.
A narcissist always reverts every topic of conversation back to himself. He brags about being the best. Chances are you are a narcissist or you have met someone who is a narcissist.
Here are few ways to identify a narcissist.
1. A narcissist is competitive. A narcissist always wants to win. He hates to lose. In his view, everyone is a loser while he is the winner. Winning to a narcissist means everything.
2. A narcissist is likeable. Narcissists come across as very charismatic and charming. Narcissists are usually very conscious of how they look. Looking physically attractive is a most. Appearance is everything to them. They sometimes care more about their appearances or the appearances of people close to them in other to project a “good” impression from people.
3. Narcissists are hypersensitive to criticism. We all don’t like criticism, but, a narcissist takes his hypersensitivity to a different height, however, he loves to criticise others.
4. Narcissists love to give excuses for his mistakes. A narcissist blames everyone but himself. He does not see anything wrong in his mistakes, but, he is quick at pointing to other peoples’ faults. Narcissists don’t take credit for their mistakes.
5. Narcissists are more likely to cheat. Narcissists find it difficult to put others feeling above theirs. Narcissists have very little ability to empathize with others. They are selfish and self-involved and are usually unable to understand what other people are feeling. Narcissists are rarely apologetic, remorseful, or guilty. They cheat and lie. They don’t feel shame.
Narcissists make most of their decisions based on how they feel about something or someone. They look for something or someone to solve what they feel or need.
6. Narcissists are always in need of controlling others. They have the unbridled lust to be in charge. They want and demand to be in control and their sense of entitlement makes it seem logical to them that they should be in control.
7. Narcissists love to manipulate. A narcissist always tries to manipulate his ways or people around him. A narcissist finds it strange if they are told “no”. If he wants something, he would go to great lengths to figure out how to get it through persistence, cajoling, demanding, rejecting or pouting.
8. A narcissist sees himself as about the rules. He often finds it difficult to obey simple rules. He is poor with spending and goes about as though he is above all standards. A narcissist believes he has an exception to rules. Narcissists utilize your weakness to ensure that they get what they want. Narcissists believe they are above others and they should be treated differently.
9. A narcissist exaggerates his achievements and talents. Narcissist requires constant admiration and adoration from people around him. He loves to hear people sing his praises.
