Healthy crispy crunchy chicken strips.

My family always loves my crispy crunchy chicken strips and they always want more. Being a mother to three growing children, I am on a quest to find recipes that are cost effective, nutritious and quick to make. I love experimenting with chicken because it does not take long to prepare, it is a great source of protein, it is lean meat and very low in fat. Chicken tastes great and it is easily digested. One of the greatest benefits of chicken is the fact that it can prevent arthritis and other bone related diseases. It is rich in substances that aid strong healthy bones and teeth in our body. What is more, with my crispy crunchy chicken strips you only need 3 ingredients. This crispy crunchy chicken of mine could be served as lunch or starters. It is far better than shop bought fried chicken because no oil is added. It saves me money and it is just a pleasant dish to make. You can make more of my crispy crunchy chicken strips and freeze them up for later. It is perfect for starter, lunch or light dinner.

In this recipe, I used chicken breast because of its goodness. Chicken breast has a good supply of vitamins and minerals. It has been proven to reduce the risk of cancer, it controls cholesterol and high blood pressure just to mention a few. It is a good alternative if you trying to lose extra fat because chicken breast is the perfect lean meat you want in your diet.
However, you can decide to use any part of chicken for this recipe.

Here is how is done.

Ingredients:
2 Boneless chicken breast
200g of crunched Cornflakes
1 to 2 eggs
Salt and pepper (Optional).

Preheat the oven to 180c F
To start with, cut your chicken breast into strips about one inch wide and spread out on a plate
Crunch up your cornflakes and season with pepper (optional).
Crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk up.
Take each chicken strip, dip in your whisked eggs and then cover up in cornflakes mixture. Place on a baking sheet and place in the middle of your oven.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crunchy.
Take out of the oven and enjoy with your favourite dip.

Now go ahead and let me know how you got on.
