I grew up not knowing anything about the internet. Everything back then was in black and white. It was fun. It was adventurous. Life was in the outdoor, newspapers, radios and national news. As a teenager, it was exciting walking down to the post office to send letters. There was always an ecstatic reception to the replies. No mobile phones to disrupt lessons. No Facebook. The sociable ones had pen pals and it was an experience to behold. It is hard to imagine living and achieving full potentials without the internet and its abundance, but, we did.

How to end internet addiction.
- Think about the effect of internet addiction. People who are addicted to the internet suffer from loneliness, pains, anxiety and depression. - Keep a journal on how many hours you spend daily on the internet. Compare each day and work to reduce the time spent in minutes.
- Delete unnecessary accounts on your phones and tablets.

- Turn off notification on your phone.

- Make some rules on where to use the internet and where not to. For instance, avoid the use of internet at the dinner table, meetings, work and much more. Make a firm decision and restrict temptation.
- Talk to people close to help with this addiction. You need encouragement from all angles.
